Cortex is distributed as free and open-source software under the standard terms of the MIT License. Users agree to employ the research tools responsibly and lawfully. Prohibited activities include:

• Attempting automated denial of service (DDoS) against upstream data providers or model gateways.
• Utilizing automated crawlers to harvest proprietary intelligence in violation of third-party robots exclusions.
• Submitting queries designed to generate harmful, unlawful, or maliciously deceptive content.

4. AI Information Disclaimer & Independent Verification

Market intelligence syntheses, quantitative metrics, and research memos produced by Cortex are provided for informational, research, and educational purposes only. AI models may occasionally generate probabilistic estimates or hallucinations. Users must independently verify financial valuations, regulatory requirements, medical conclusions, or engineering decisions prior to executing capital allocations or strategic commitments.

5. Ownership of Research Outputs and Deliverables

You retain complete and unencumbered ownership of all prompt inputs, synthesized research memoranda, exported presentation slide decks (.pptx), and generated whitepapers (.docx). Cortex asserts zero intellectual property claims over your analytical deliverables.
